Work in Progress
Life is imperfect. It’s also political.
When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.
—Buckminster Fuller
Buckminster Fuller, inventor of the geodesic dome, is a thinker & maker I highly admire. Fuller seemingly valued both form and function equally—a perspective in which we share. He strived to design systems that performed the best with the least resources. His design principles provide a sort of North Star for me.

Not Fake News
Westword
“The artist—who once worked as the deputy communications director for the Colorado Senate Democrats before becoming disillusioned with the party—became worried that Night Window was a Trojan horse for gentrification.”
Salt Mag
“Regular community members often develop the wrong belief system by believing everything they read … if they could just come out and speak with some of the unhoused, that would be a key to start changing things.”
Denver Post
“All speakers during public comment criticized the police department and many asked for further investigation and discipline.
‘If there are no consequences, nothing will change,’ Blair Sagan said.”
Taos News
“‘I'm really excited about connecting with local queers, allies, and makers. Taos has a vibrant LGBTQ community, but it tends to be scattered, so it's my favorite thing when events like these bring folks together,’ says Blair Scout Sagan, the mastermind and designer behind Office of BS.”
Denverite
“The group of about 12 was protesting a new Regional Transportation District policy that bans eating, lying and sitting on the floor at the bus depot because of ‘problematic and unsafe behavior in the station.’”
Westword
“On behalf of From Allies to Abolitionists, we must call these assertions disingenuous at best, and criminally misleading at worst. This hollow, hackneyed rhetoric is yet another example of the false narrative the mayor has been selling—one that abounds with disinformation and subversive motives.”
Denverite
“Blair Sagan, who was giving Riggs a haircut one Monday night, said that more people need to see those experiencing homelessness as members of their community for things to change.”
